Paint With Me!

This is a class about students using their creativity and imagination. They will be taught painters' tips and tricks to use while painting.

Week One: Students will watch a step by step video learning how to do this painting. Students will paint a beach-going from dark to light. Students will learn how to blend colors throughout this lesson. When students are finished with their art, they will upload the finished picture and share what they like about the painting. Students will also share what they like about each other's paintings.

Week 2: This week, students will learn about pouring painting techniques. Students will watch a video on the pouring technique; then, they will follow step by step instructions on doing their art. Students can use their colors and make a beautiful piece of art, unlike anyone else. Students will share their art and their learning experiences in the classroom

Week 3: This week, students will be doing line art; this is a more abstract form of painting for students. Students will watch a step by step video of line art and then create their masterpiece.

Week 4: This week, students will create a heart painting and focus on blending colors black and white to make gray and one red and white to make pink. Students will watch a step by step video and then upload their final art piece. Students will make observations about their work and critique each piece throughout the four weeks. Students will pick one piece of art they have completed over the past four weeks and write a story or poem about that piece of art and share it with the class.
